Biomecanics school mary janes in first-quality leather, for a stage that asks two things of footwear at once: to stand up to intensive use and to breathe. The On Steam textile lining and insole are breathable and keep drawing the vapour out with the foot inside, and the Always Dry treatment absorbs the moisture and dries faster between one class and the next.

The insole is removable, so it airs at home and shows the room the foot has left at the front. Outside, the lightweight, flexible sole bends along the same line the foot bends on, and its non-slip tread grips on the smooth floors of the school. The adjustable fastening crosses the instep and, because it opens right out, they put them on by themselves.
