Wear always concentrates in the same two places, and these Biomecanics school mary janes in leather cover both: the reinforced toe cap looks after the front, where the ground is rubbed when braking and dragging the foot, and the adjustable fastening looks after the instep, opening right out to put them on and closing again to the size of the moment.

Inside, lining and insole are in On Steam textile, breathable, which lets the vapour out with the foot inside, and the Always Dry treatment absorbs the moisture and dries sooner; the insole comes out of the shoe, because it is removable, so the air gets to it. Outside, the lightweight, flexible sole bends at the toes while its non-slip tread grips on the classroom floor.
