The whole sole of the foot rests flat and level in these Biomecanics barefoot slippers in soft textile, zero drop, just as when the foot goes barefoot around the house; the shoe carries the endorsement of the Official College of Podiatrists (ICOPCV).

Underneath, a lightweight, flexible sole works with the foot as it bends, with a non-slip tread that grips on tiles, and at the front a protective toe cap that takes the knocks against chair legs. The adjustable fastening opens completely to get in and then closes over the instep. The On Steam textile lining and insole are breathable and draw the vapour out without taking the slipper off the little one, and that insole is removable so it can be aired separately. The toes, meanwhile, keep plenty of room at the front to spread as they land.

Materials and construction
