With a last that keeps room at the front, these Biomecanics school shoes in leather go with a foot that changes in width and in volume, not only in length: the heel sits housed and the adjustable fastening grades the instep without pressing on it, opening right out so the shoe goes on without forcing it.

The reinforced toe cap protects the space for the toes, the lightweight, flexible sole bends at the front so the step is not cut short, and the non-slip tread keeps it from sliding as the heel lands. The On Steam textile lining and insole are breathable and draw the vapour out with the foot inside, and the Always Dry treatment absorbs the moisture and dries faster; that insole, removable, airs outside the shoe and shows how much is left before the next size.
